Inventory & Production Control Coordinator

$50-55k/salary

Richmond Heights, OH

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly key performance indicators (KPI) reports for all Operational departments at all locations
  • Work in collaboration with production scheduling, manufacturing and warehouse teams to develop and implement effective, systematic and sustainable methods for reduction of variance discrepancies.
  • Serve as primary backup to the Production Coordinator/Planner for scheduling activities
  • Coordinate and enter data for daily cycle counts per established procedures for all facilities
  • Review material shortages and inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis
  • Work with purchasing department regarding inventory shortages, demand planning and delivery lead time to insure no stoppage in manufacturing or deliveries to the customer
  • Assists the Inventory & Production Control Manager with special projects related to production planning and inventory accuracy such as bar code scanning, bin location set-up and inventory slotting
  • Create training material and document procedures to comply with new / existing operational processes
  • Develop strong day-to-day working relationship with all Operations Managers and staff at all locations
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in production scheduling or warehouse inventory control
  • High school diploma and CPIM certification preferred
  • Strong EPR system skills, experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Warehouse Management Systems experience to evolve into a systems super-user
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication / language skills required to include the ability to provide instructions and present information clearly
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and manage workflow with the ability to work with others to continuously improve our company
  • Excellent work habits including punctuality, attendance and work ethic
