Step One: The Assessment
Reviewing a candidate’s application is just the first and most basic step of the process. But this is the time when the evaluation begins. By understanding a candidate’s background, we are able to truly assess what has worked and what hasn’t historically. This give us a wealth of inputs in terms of putting candidates in situations that maximize their chances of success.
Step Two: The Interview
Applications never tell the entire story. Our team utilizes a consistent and effective interview process that allows candidates to fully walk us through their individual stories. Everyone grows through different parts of their lives, so we strive to make sure that we understand who a person in the present day.
Step Three: The Walk Through
We firmly believe that this is the most important part of the process for our clients. The team at Ultra believes very strongly that seeing is believing! We can truly sell our clients’ operation, but it so much more impactful to allow candidates to see it with their own eyes. This part of our process has proven to drastically reduce turnover by eliminating a big part of the shock factor that new employees tend to experience when starting assignments on day one.
Step Four: The Placement
Once a candidate has been fully vetted and has had an opportunity to see their new opportunity in person, the team at Ultra will make sure that no details are left uncovered. In-house drug testing and background checks are complimentary for new starts and are always done prior to a candidate starting their assignment. Finally, a thorough review of all pertinent assignment information is reviewed with each individual candidate. From safety procedures and shift times to future hire-in benefits, we want to make sure that all candidates are fully informed.
Post Hire Assistance
The team at Ultra strives to create and maintain long-term relationships, not just with our clients, but also with our candidates. Given this, we want to make sure that we are on standby throughout the entire experience. Check-in calls happen often as we want to make sure that our candidates have a sounding board for any concerns they may have while on assignment. We truly personalize our relationships as we know how important personal referrals are to our business.
